This past Saturday, we had the pleasure of joining the vibrant community at Southey’s Thrift & Second Hand Market in Somerset West. Known for its warm atmosphere, unique finds, and a true celebration of local creativity, the market was buzzing with energy from the moment the gates opened.
We set up our stall among talented artisans, thrifters, and food vendors, bringing along our eco-luxury candle ranges, from our Standard Range now in elegant glass jars, to our Big Five Collection inspired by Africa’s wild spirit.
The response was incredible! Shoppers stopped by to discover their favorite fragrances, ask questions about our eco-friendly soy-coconut wax blend, and even share their own candle stories. Many loved the idea of a candle not only being a product, but also a piece of art, sustainability, and storytelling.
Markets like Southey’s are more than just trading spaces, they’re opportunities to meet our community face-to-face, share what inspires us, and connect with people who value hand-poured quality and sustainability.
A huge thank you to everyone who visited our stall, supported local makers, and helped make the day such a success. We left feeling inspired and more excited than ever to continue growing the iFancyCandles family.
